Industrial Strategy challenge fund faces first wave of challenges

As announced in the spring budget an initial investment from the brand new Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) of £270 million will be made in 2017 to 2018.
This new wave of funding will kick start the development of exciting new disruptive technologies set to transform the economy and business intelligence in the UK.

Moreover, the budget announced plans to build research talent and skills in the UK, this includes an investment of £250 million over the next 4 years.
